2 Cups Package Biscuit Mix 2 Tablespoons Cooking Oil 1/4 Cup Sugar 1/4 Cup Sugar 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon 1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon 1/2 Cup Applesauce 2 Tablespoons Butter 1/4 Cup Milk -Or Margarine, Melted 1 Egg, Slightly Beaten
Combine biscuit mix, sugar and cinnamon. Add applesauce, milk, egg, and cooking oil. Beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Fill greased 2-inch muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees) for 12 minutes or until golden. Cool slightly; remove from pans. Mix cinnamon and sugar. Dip tops of muffins in melted butter and then in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Makes 24 muffins.
