1950s Recipe - Audrey Gartz

"Audrey was one of my neighbors both at Harvard Forest, where our husbands got their Masters degrees, and in Salem, Oregon when they were working for the Oregon State Forestry Department." - Jean Hansen

"Another one of the cookies that my Mom would make during the holidays.  When I think of these, it reminds me of Christmas, but they are good any time of the year." - Calla Ferre
