7-Layer Casserole

1 Cup Uncooked Rice, Washed 1/2 Cup Green Pepper, Chopped
1 Cup Canned Whole Kernel Corn 3/4 Pound Uncooked Ground Beef
2 Cans Hunt's Tomato Sauce 4 Strips Bacon, Cut In Half
1 Cup Water Salt
1/2 Cup Onion, Finely Chopped Pepper

Using a 2-quart baking dish with a tight-fitting lid, combine ingredients in the following layers:

1) Rice;
2) Corn;
3) Sprinkle of salt and pepper, 1 can Tomato sauce and 1/2 cup Water;
4) Onion and Green Pepper;
5) Ground Beef;
6) Sprinkle of salt and pepper, 1 can Tomato sauce and 1/2 cup Water;
7) Bacon strips.

Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and bake another 30 minutes longer until bacon is crisped. Makes 4-6 servings.
