(Variation On Nestle's Recipe)
2 1/4 Cups Flour 3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda 2 Teaspoons Vanilla 1/2 Teaspoon Salt 2 Eggs 1 Cup Butter 12 Ounces Chocolate Chips 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar 1 Cup Walnuts, Chopped
Heat oven to 375 degrees. In bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and salt. In larger mixer bowl, beat butter granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonful's onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-11 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove to wire rack. Cool Completely. Makes about 6 dozen cookies (editor's note: haha ... very small cookies)
