Grandmother's Fudge

2 Cups Sugar 1/2 Cup Margarine
2/3 Cup Canned Milk Pinch Salt
12 Marshmallows 1 6-Oz Package (1 Cup) Chocolate-Chips
1 Teaspoon Vanilla 1 Cup Nuts, Chopped

Mix sugar, milk, marshmallows, margarine and salt in 2-quart pan. Cook over medium heat. Bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add chocolate, nuts and vanilla. Beat mixture until smooth. Place in buttered 8x8 pan. Cool and cut into pieces. Makes 30 pieces.
