1981 Recipe - Calla Ferre - From The New World Encyclopedia of Cooking, 1979.
"We were in the grocery store one day, and my husband wanted to buy a jar of cocktail sauce. I looked at the price, and was astonished by how much they wanted for such simple and inexpensive ingredients. So I found this recipe, and have used it ever since! (It tastes far superior to any store bought cocktail sauce as well.)" - Calla Ferre
