Queen Of Muffins

1/4 Cup Butter 1/2 Cup Milk, Scant
1/3 Cup Sugar 1 1/2 Cup Flour
1 Egg 2 1/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder

Cream butter. Add sugar gradually, then the egg. Beat well. Sift baking powder with flour. Add to first mixture alternately with milk. Bake in hot oven (425 degrees) for 25 minutes.
