Tahitian Beef


2 Pounds Stewing Beef 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
1to 2 Tablespoons Oil 1 Tablespoon Wine Vinegar
1 20-Oz Can Pineapple Chunks 2 Green Peppers
1 16-Oz Can Tomatoes Cooked Rice
1 Envelope Onion Gravy Mix

Brown beef in oil. Drain off excess fat. Combine with drained pineapple in slow cooker (Crockpot). Break up tomatoes in bowl; combine with gravy mix, soy sauce and vinegar. Add to beef and pineapple; stir. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours. Add green pepper strips and cook 1 hour longer until beef is tender. Serve with rice. Makes 6 servings.
