5th Dimension Burger

Caramelized Onions 4 Hamburger Buns
1 1/2 Pounds Ground Chuck Mayonnaise
1 1/2 Tablespoon 5th Dimension Powder Lettuce
Salt and Pepper, To Taste Tomato
4 Slices Cheese

Caramelize onions by cooking in a mixture of olive oil and butter. Add 1/4 teaspoon sugar if desired to help with the caramelization. Cook, stirring just enough to prevent onions from burning, until golden brown and well caramelized.

Thoroughly combine ground chuck and 5th dimension powder. Form into four patties and season with salt and pepper. Grill until of desired doneness. Towards the end of cooking, top each patty with a slice of cheese.

Lightly toast hamburger buns and spread with mayo. Top bottom bun with lettuce, then tomato, burger patty and finish with caramelized onions.

2019 Adapted Recipe - April Ferre - adapted from Wicked Good Burgers by Andy Husbands, Chris Hart & Andrea Pyenson, 2013.

"As with most things, the quality of your ingredients is key.  The authors of "Wicked Good Burgers" suggest, for best results, to grind your own meat, for example.  Though few of us will want to go so far.  Likewise, homemade mayonnaise can be a huge boost to a burger.  I recommend at minimum to get yourself a good quality bun from bakery." - April Ferre
