Leftover Plain Pie Pastry Dough Cinnamon Sugar
Roll out your leftover pie crust dough into oblong shape. Place on a cookie sheet. The shape doesn't have to be perfect. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Cut into 1/2-inch strips. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees until golden brown.
Also, when making Pumpkin Pie for Thanksgiving, use a small Turkey or Chicken cookie cutter and make Cinnamon Turkey decorations for the pie. Serve each slice of pie with a dollop of whipped cream topped with a cinnamon turkey. These are also a particularly fun treat for kids during the holidays.
Original Recipe - Calla Ferre
"A great way to use that leftover Pie Pastry Dough. And it makes for a nice snack to satisfy your sweet tooth." - April Ferre
